Studio welcomed the opportunity to re-release this great collection of music by Mixtaped Monk. Urban Lonesome.

"Urban Lonesome" is an album that, through sounds, speaks to the various experiences a person has upon returning home after 5 years of travel in pursuit of his passion. The album tries to convey how the person feels when he finds out that the city, and the whole atmosphere around it, has changed drastically. He feels like he is stranded in a deserted island; friendless, lonely and anxious. The album is inspired by Mixtaped Monk's (aka Arka Sengupta) own experiences after he shifted to his hometown earlier this year.
Sonically, this album borders around Atmospheric, Ambient, Post-Rock and Experimental music.
