Would love to know where he’s getting his fresh inspiration from, but it’s working! Laniakea is one of the best space-ambient albums of the year, an essential addition to any collection in this genre. After a lot of ambient guitar, piano noodling and guest compilations, this is an exciting change of pace. A nice bit of the ol’ T.D. balanced with the quiet droning Cousin Silas is known for. Drifting peace and joy and tranquil immersion in the vast miracle of the cosmos.
