The album sequel to A Dark Object, released October 28, 2016.
I am always intrigued by the whys and wherefores behind musical creations. For many artists, myself included, they are often the prerequisite to creating. This beautiful and amazing album was born out of a personal event in the composers' life. One of those events that makes one question life, and living, and dying. The artist himself said that thoughts and memories of childhood and growing old, figured prominently in this collection. The music on this album is as timeless, deep, varied and thoughtful as those contemplations.
The album music presents, overall, an aura of contemplation and deep emotion, even a touch of the melancholic, and is a mix of ambient, post rock, a bit of doom and gloom maybe. Some wonderful lush and melodic synths juxtaposed with some lovely guitar riffs. An incredibly winning combination in my opinion!
This excellent album is definitely a MUST listen! And listen again!
