Late last year Candy and I were chatting on FaceBook and I said maybe we should do another album together, Candy said that maybe as we both like Classical music, we should try to make a Neo-Classical album. This was something I had never done before. It was a challenge to see if I could write in that way. So while the early winter months flowed on, I tried to do what I thought was a orchestrated piece, then sent it to Candy. She replied she could work with what I sent, and could I do some more. Well the juices flowed and quickly some more pieces were sent to Candy. but sadly with Candy's treatments taking a toll on her, it took longer for her to do her pieces, though I told her that time was not a issue,we were not working to a deadline,
Anyway both finished our pieces and with Candy's time taken, she asked me to mix the album, so if the listeners have fault with it, you can blame me (hahahaha) not Candy.

Any time I am asked to collaborate, I am honored. As I was when Colin and I discussed this album. Although it took crazy time to for me to finish this split album (and Colin was infinitely patient with me!), I am so happy with the end result!
I totally respect and enjoy Colin's work, and working on a project the style of which was not familiar to us made me even more determined to turn out something memorable and unique.
Colin's orchestral pieces are brilliant! So, instead of competing with these, I chose to focus on a more transitional style. I think it works well. I think the album flows perfectly.
I hope you enjoy our neo classical project!
