We welcome an excellent new collaborative album from Glenn Sogge and friends. This time with Boson Spin, Niculta, Abraxas, rough ride of crafts, sevenism, Linnea, Night Note, Tuonela and Synkrotron.

Following in the tradition of the albums The Rashomon Perplex (rkaicmoderne.bandcamp.com/album/the-rashomon-perplex) and Theme Music From The Aether (weareallghosts.bandcamp.com/album/theme-music-from-the-aether-waag-rel099), Glenn Sogge has created another multi-artist collaboration effort with House Of A Thousand Tales.
It began with the posting of a base track on Soundcloud about a week before Halloween inviting collaborations because "'twas the season."
Eight artists ended up providing their take on the base track and the theme. Some of these were among "the usual suspects" -- frequent collaborators -- while others were brand new to the party. In all cases, though, interesting tracks were the result.
As a bonus, this release includes the original base track as the last one of the album. Feel free to create your own version(s) of the House of a Thousand Tales and let us know about your stories.

❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me.
