Studio welcomes December Nightskies to the label. With a lovely darker ambient collection, Cold Winter Ambience.
December Nightskies is the project of Kendall Keeler, from Oklahoma USA. Kendall is a prolific composer and collaborator and has a number of excellent albums to his credit. The focus of December Nightskies Is dark ambient, space ambient, drone. He began his musical journey back in 2008, under the name Black Winds. He then changed to December Nightskies. He collaborates with other Studio artists like Scott Lawlor, and Oystein Jorgensen. Kendall also has a bandmate, Sean Monaghan (Venus Vulture), of New Zealand, with whom he collaborates as Shadows On The Snow.
This album is a five track collection, finishing up with a 40 minute title track drone. It was a great choce, I think, for bringing this year's cold season to an end! And to celebrate the possibiities of a new season with some truly excellent ambient music!
