In my mind, only one thing can compare to the great ambient works of Cousin Silas. This would be anything that showcases his amazing talent and technique on the guitar.
"In Dub" does just this. On this excellent 8 track album, Silas is a one man Dub machine! He is the drummer, bassist, guitarist, and keyboard/synth man all in one! Loaded with an array of nicely selected background sound fx, drums on high reverb, perfect bass lines connecting beats and instruments, electric guitar strums and arty leads with fades and fx in all of the right places, In Dub offers an amazing, bluesy, spacey, psychedelic, 72 minute sonic experience!
As excellent as his best ambient! Just dubbed, is all.
